Setup

1. Shuffle the 72-card deck.
2. Deal face-down stacks (do not look): 1–3 players = 9 each; 4 = 7 each; 5–6 = 5 each.
3. Remaining cards = leftover / turn-over pile.
4. Choose first player.

Your turn

You get 4 darts for the whole turn.

1. Flip the top card of your personal stack.
2. Before your first dart, flip one leftover card and resolve it.
3. Resolve your personal card.
4. On a clear, keep going if darts remain (or none were spent).
5. Turn ends when 4 darts are spent or Start Over stops you.

Numbers 1–20: Hit any segment of that number to clear. After your last personal clear, leftover darts may go for bullseye.

How to win

Clear all personal cards, then hit bullseye — or win with the Bull card on your last clear (clear last while holding Bull = win).

Same-number clarification

If your personal stack has more than one of the same number, you must hit that number again for each card. Example: you hit 7, clear it, then flip another 7 — hit 7 again.

Variations

Decide before play whether Free Play and Start Over are always active — in your hand or in the leftover pile. When always active, specials resolve more often and more of the game happens off the dartboard.

Handicapping

• Weaker players get Free Play cards.
• Stronger players get Start Over cards.
• Agreed weakest player can get the Bull card.
• Stronger players finish on center (inner) bull; weaker may use outer bull too.
• If you deal specialty cards this way, skip the leftover pile.
